Selby Jennings is partnering with a leading real estate private equity firm to identify top-tier talent for roles ranging from Analyst to Vice President. This firm specializes in niche asset classes, including senior living communities and marinas, and is actively expanding its portfolio through strategic acquisitions and hands-on asset management.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will play a key role in both the acquisition and asset management of senior living and/or marina properties. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team with a strong track record in value-add and opportunistic real estate investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquisitions:
- Source and evaluate investment opportunities in senior living and marina sectors.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and conduct market research.
- Lead or support due diligence processes and transaction execution.
- Prepare investment committee materials and presentations.
Asset Management:
- Oversee operational and financial performance of existing assets.
- Collaborate with property managers and operating partners to optimize asset value.
- Track KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic initiatives.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to internal stakeholders and investors.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred for VP level.
- 2-10 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, or institutional real estate.
- Demonstrated experience in both acquisitions and asset management.
- Sector-specific expertise in senior living and/or marina assets is required.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
