Production IT Manager - Azure

Selby Jennings is a partnered with a leading P&C leveraging modern technology and risk expertise to bring a new, modern specialty carrier to underwriting partners and their customers. They are actively looking for an Production IT Manager to establish governance and bridge the gap between development teams and production operations to ensure all IT platforms including end users' devices, third party applications, and production environments are controlled, well-supported and follow proper change management processes.

This role reports into the Director of IT, with the need for an experienced IT professional who can work independently to address technical issues, optimize systems, and help maintain the firm's growing IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain change management policies, procedures, and documentations for Azure-based development projects
  • Manage deployment schedules, maintenance windows, and production releases
  • Oversee Azure infrastructure changes and resource management
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather requirements, develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
  • Work with our Managed Service Provider, and all IT third-party service providers, to manage implementations for third-party solutions.
  • Oversee daily IT operations and ensure service level agreements are met

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in the infrastructure space, with an expertise in cloud technologies sich
  • At least 3 years of experience in a change management role
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, PowerShell, ARM (Azure Resource Manager)

Expected compensation: $130,000 - $150,000
