The Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant to join their P&C actuarial team. This leadership role involves managing a portfolio of complex projects, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the firm's strategic growth through business development and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver actuarial consulting projects, including reserving, pricing, predictive modeling, and capital modeling.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and strategic alignment.
- Oversee project teams, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Mentor and support the development of junior consultants.
- Drive business development efforts, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Contribute to intellectual capital and innovation within the P&C actuarial space.
- Monitor industry trends and help evolve the firm's service offerings.
Candidate Profile
- ACAS or FCAS designation (or equivalent) with 10+ years of experience in P&C actuarial consulting.
- Proven leadership and client relationship management experience.
- Demonstrated success in business development and expanding client portfolios.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation Range: $170,000 - $400,000, based on experience and qualifications.
