Selby Jennings is partnered with a forward‑thinking MGA in the London Market who are seeking to hire an enthusiastic, qualified Senior Pricing Actuary / Pricing Manager into a high‑impact role within their expanding actuarial function.
This position sits within their delegated authority portfolio, working closely with the underwriting team, and offers an exceptional opportunity for actuaries who enjoy technical challenge, collaboration, and driving pricing capability forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical insight to support underwriting and portfolio decisions, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Partner with brokers and coverholders, delivering actuarial input in external meetings.
- Contribute to project work focused on enhancing pricing methodologies, processes, and model performance.
- Support reporting and governance requirements, with the potential to mentor junior analysts depending on experience.
Requirements:
- FIA qualified (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of general insurance pricing experience, ideally within Commercial Lines (Delegated Authority experience desirable).
- Highly organised, with the ability to work both independently and within cross‑functional teams.
- A confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
