Power/Renewables Investment Banking Associate/VP
Job Overview:
My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Banking Associate or Vice President to join their dynamic Power & Renewables team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to high-profile transactions and drive growth within a leading financial institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transactional Execution: Participate in the full cycle of transactional execution, including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, and preparing and presenting internal committee memoranda and client presentations.
- Client Interaction: Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A or capital market transactions. Interact with senior team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives.
- Valuation Analysis: Define, guide, and review detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analyses.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed combination and other financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations.
- Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to Associates and Analysts. Participate in graduate recruiting and training programs.
- Strategic Contribution: Play a leadership role in implementing the execution function, working with analysts and associates, and assisting more senior bankers.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.
- Education: A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.
- Skills: Strong financial modeling skills, impeccable communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
- Attributes: Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently. Understands transaction cycle and is execution-oriented.
