Operations Analyst (Shanghai)
We are seeking an operations analyst to join a global systematic asset manager in Shanghai. The role involves supporting local operations and collaborating with teams globally. You will bring your expertise to enhance existing processes and learn about systematic investment management functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily operations, treasury, and fund accounting.
- Reconcile trades, positions, cash, margin, and NAV.
- Manage fund subscriptions, redemptions, and daily margin.
- Handle queries from internal and external parties.
- Maintain relationships with counterparties and administrators.
- Support new account and asset onboarding.
- Conduct data management, vendor management, and operational risk management.
- Improve processes through automation.
- Assist with compliance tasks, including AML and regulatory reports.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in fund administration or middle/back office roles.
- Hands-on experience with QDLP products is highly valued.
- Familiarity with private securities funds lifecycle.
- Experience with financial and commodity futures is an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong collaborative and communication skills.
- Fluent in Chinese and English.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
