Role Overview
As an M&A FIG Associate, you will play a key role in executing complex transactions across the financial services landscape. You will work closely with senior team members and clients on mandates including buy-side and sell-side advisory, capital raising, and cross-border deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of M&A transactions from pitch to closing
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation (DCF, trading comps, precedent transactions), and modeling
- Prepare client presentations, teasers, IMs, and management presentations
- Perform market and sector research, including identifying and approaching potential targets or investors
- Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with legal, tax, and other advisors
- Contribute to origination efforts and sector coverage initiatives
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and industry stakeholders
Candidate Profile
- 2-5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, ideally with exposure to FIG
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Fluent in French and English
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Knowledge of the financial services ecosystem in France and Europe is a plus
