As a recruitment partner, we are supporting a well-established international financial institution in identifying a talented Loan Officer to join their growing lending operations team. This organization has a strong presence across structured and asset-based financing and is expanding its loan fund activities, creating an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to take ownership of complex financing structures in a collaborative, high-trust environment.

Your Role

In this position, you will assume end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral loan transactions across multiple asset classes, including areas such as real assets, infrastructure, and specialized finance. Acting as a key interface between borrowers, lending partners, and internal stakeholders, you will oversee transactions throughout their full lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and administer complex syndicated and bilateral loan facilities independently
Oversee loan lifecycle events including drawdowns, repayments, amendments, and restructurings
Support the execution and allocation of transactions involving internal fund structures
Coordinate contractual processes in line with internationally recognized standards (e.g., LMA frameworks)
Serve as a central contact point for internal teams, external partners, and borrowers
Contribute to the enhancement and streamlining of operational processes
Provide guidance and technical support to more junior colleagues within the team

Your Profile

Successfully completed banking qualification, finance degree, or a comparable background
Proven experience in loan administration, credit operations, or syndicated lending environments
Strong understanding of international loan documentation standards (e.g., LMA)
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
High level of accuracy, risk awareness, and attention to detail
Self-driven, structured, and proactive working style with a collaborative mindset
