Liquidity Director
I am working with a prominent regional bank that is looking to hire a Liquidity Manager to come join their team. As a Liquidity Manager you will lead the development of advanced liquidity tools and frameworks, including stress testing models, intraday liquidity capabilities, and contingency planning. You'll also provide critical insights to senior leadership and help shape the bank's response to evolving regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, execution, and analysis of the internal liquidity stress testing (ILST) model, including scenario development and action planning.
* Monitor compliance with Basel III liquidity standards and U.S. regulatory requirements (Reg YY, OCC bulletins, Federal Reserve SR letters).
* Build and implement an intraday liquidity risk management structure and cash flow forecasting tools.
* Conduct liquidity assessments for new business activities and provide strategic guidance to senior leadership.
* Manage the Contingency Funding Plan and ensure preparedness for liquidity stress scenarios.
* Deliver clear, data-driven insights and reports to executive management and governance committees.
* Develop and maintain the bank's liquidity management framework, including stress testing and resiliency planning.
Qualifications
* Experience with liquidity modeling and scenario analysis.
* 3-8 years of experience in liquidity management, preferably within a large financial institution, consultancy, or regulatory agency.
* Proficiency in data tools such as Python, VBA, or SQL is a plus.
* Deep understanding of liquidity risk, intraday liquidity, and regulatory frameworks.
