Lead Project Accountant
Selby Jennings has partnered with one of the largest construction firms in the US on a search for a new Project Accountant for their site in Horsham, PA. This role operates in a hybrid work model.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project accounting experience; construction industry experience preferred
- Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and solve complex issues under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Discreet, adaptable, and able to work independently
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly project billings for complex accounts per contract terms.
- Monitor budgets, process vendor/subcontractor invoices, and draft owner invoices.
- Support project managers in tracking financial performance.
- Attend progress and division meetings; prepare related reports and forecasts.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities; conduct special analyses as needed.
- Mentor and train junior Project Accountants.
