Lead Network Developer

They are seeking a skilled software developer with a strong understanding of networking technologies to join their Platform Engineering team, based in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, or Gurugram. This is a hands-on technical role within a cross-functional team, focused on software development to support infrastructure engineering projects and on maintaining and enhancing the firm's technology platforms.
What You Will Do Day-to-Day
- Lead projects involving research and development to evaluate appropriate technologies.
- Resolve application and data issues in production within defined timelines.
- Drive full project lifecycles-from requirements gathering to delivery.
- Design, implement, and manage the firm's network automation infrastructure in collaboration with other IT Infrastructure teams.
- Contribute to engineering projects and provide tier 2/3 operational support to improve configurability, observability, supportability, and reliability of the enterprise technology environment.
- Develop, support, and maintain automation tools to enable network engineers to work more efficiently.
- Upgrade and/or redesign existing infrastructure to enhance performance and stability.
Who We Are Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of software development experience, ideally with a focus on networking.
- Strong understanding of software development and maintenance, the software development lifecycle, and proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Golang, etc.
- Familiarity with enterprise software development stacks and software management frameworks.
- Experience designing and implementing performant, reliable, and secure network automation systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with diagnostic tools on Linux.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including the TCP/IP stack.
