Investor Relations and Fundraising Associate
A leading global private investment management firm is seeking a full‑time Investor Relations/Fundraising Associate to support senior IR professionals across several private‑markets strategies, including private equity, venture capital, life sciences, technology, and special situations. This individual will work closely with other members of the investor relations team to prepare prospect meetings, analyze investor data, build targeted outreach lists, and contribute to a high‑quality fundraising and client‑engagement pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain prospect pipelines across regions and investor types; manage CRM workflows and reporting.
  • Conduct consultant research and geographic mapping to support relationship development.
  • Oversee data quality and information flow within Salesforce to support business development initiatives.
  • Manage fundraising records and coordinate follow‑up with prospects and existing investors.
  • Support diligence efforts, including meeting preparation, material coordination, and participation in internal and external meetings.
  • Coordinate RFP/RFI processes in partnership with the due‑diligence team.
  • Produce ad‑hoc reporting and insights using Salesforce and related datasets.
  • Prepare meeting materials, briefing documents, and investor background research.
  • Assist with competitive analysis, peer benchmarking, and broader market‑positioning work.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance.
  • A minimum of 1.5+ years of experience in asset management, consulting, or a related financial services marketing/analytical role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to take ownership of tasks of all sizes.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and a creative problem solver.
  • Series 7 and 63 required, or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days.
