Investment Vice President
Key Responsibilities
Deal Sourcing & Origination
- Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities across SEA, with a focus on manufacturing and industrials.
- Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries, advisors, and industry stakeholders.
Investment Execution
- Lead due diligence processes, including financial modeling, valuation, market analysis, and risk assessment.
- Coordinate with legal, tax, and technical advisors to structure and negotiate transactions.
- Prepare and present investment memos to the Investment Committee.
Portfolio Management
- Monitor and support portfolio companies in achieving strategic and operational goals.
- Work closely with management teams to drive value creation initiatives.
- Track performance metrics and prepare regular reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Team Leadership & Development
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting, with a strong track record in deal execution.
- Deep understanding of the manufacturing and industrials sectors in Southeast Asia.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in a regional language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across the region as needed.
