About the Opportunity
An independent investment banking advisory platform is seeking a Vice President to join its Frankfurt team. The firm advises public companies, boards, founders, shareholders, and investors on complex strategic assignments including public M&A, shareholder activism, defence mandates, strategic reviews, take-private transactions, and capital markets-driven advisory work. The role offers substantial responsibility across transaction execution, client management, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day execution of live M&A and strategic advisory mandates.
- Manage Associates and Analysts across multiple transactions.
- Review and oversee financial modelling, valuation work, and transaction materials.
- Act as a key liaison for clients, legal advisers, and external stakeholders.
- Present strategic recommendations and transaction analysis to senior management teams.
- Support business development efforts and help generate new client opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience within investment banking, M&A advisory, or strategic corporate finance.
- Strong track record executing sell-side, buy-side, strategic advisory, or public company transactions.
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong commercial instincts and client relationship abilities.
- Fluency in German and English.
