Investment Banking SVP, M&A
- Lead M&A and advisory transactions across APAC, Europe, LatAm, and the US
- Act as primary client contact, maintaining senior-level relationships and execution quality
- Manage key workstreams: due diligence, financial analysis, structuring, and legal documentation (SPA, SHA)
- Coordinate cross-border internal teams and oversee external advisors (legal, accounting)
- Support transactions involving Chinese regulatory approvals (incl. SASAC)
- Support and lead origination of new Corporate Finance mandates
- Build relationships with corporates (focus on Chinese SOEs/POEs), sponsors, and infrastructure investors
- Identify opportunities across cross-border M&A, carve-outs, and capital raises
- Contribute to pitching and mandate conversion
- Lead deal teams and allocate work across Associates and Analysts
- Oversee delivery of materials (IMs, presentations, models)
- Manage data rooms and control information flow across transactions
- Run multiple deals simultaneously with strong execution discipline
- Build/review models: M&A, LBO, and project finance
- Perform valuations (DCF, comps, transactions, IRR)
- Translate analysis into clear, actionable client recommendations
- 8-10 years' M&A / Corporate Finance experience in a leading investment bank
- Strong cross-border execution track record
- Experience with SOEs/POEs; exposure to Europe, LatAm, or US markets advantageous
- Advanced modelling and valuation skills
- Strong client-facing, commercial, and stakeholder management ability
- Fluent English required; Mandarin and/or Spanish advantageous
