Investment Banking Associate | TMT
Selby Jennings is partnering with a global full-service investment bank to bring on an Investment Banking Associate to join an established TMT coverage team in San Francisco. This office is home to several "Head of" Investment Banking Managing Directors and a team comprised of sharp and hardworking individuals. The Associate will play a key role in executing M&A, financing, and strategic advisory transactions while working closely with senior bankers, clients, and junior team members.
Ideal candidates are current Investment Banking Associate 1 or 2 levels with experience in TMT or similar sectors. Additionally, ideal candidates are currently located in or open to relocating to San Francisco.
Responsibilities include:
- M&A and capital markets transaction execution
- Financial modeling and valuation analysis
- Preparation of client presentations and transaction materials
- Industry and company research
- Due diligence and transaction process management
- Management and development of Analysts
- Supporting senior bankers on client coverage and business development
Qualifications:
- Prior investment banking experience
- Strong modeling, valuation, and accounting skills
- M&A and/or financing transaction experience
- TMT experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
