Overview:
A leading global investment bank is seeking highly motivated Analysts to join its Frankfurt-based Investment Banking team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile M&A and strategic advisory transactions across a range of industries in a dynamic, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation of companies using methodologies such as DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysis.
- Prepare high-quality client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation.
- Support the execution of live transactions, including due diligence, process coordination, and client interaction.
- Monitor market trends and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant sectors and financial developments.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across functions and geographies to deliver seamless client service.
Candidate Profile:
- Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record; a focus in finance, business, accounting, economics, or mathematics is preferred.
- Prior experience in investment banking (corporate finance/M&A) or a closely related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills, with a strong grasp of accounting and financial concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to value businesses and interpret financial statements.
- High level of motivation and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; strong financial reporting skills are essential.
- Fluency in English and German is required
