Investment Banking Analyst-Associate
Selby Jennings is partnering with a Boutique Investment Bank specializing in film and entertainment to bring an Analyst to Senior Associate to their team in Los Angeles or New York. Their platform boasts a back track record completing more than 100+ transactions, building a strong reputation in the entertainment sector.
Ideal candidates are current Analyst or Investment Banking Associates that have experience or strong interest in entertainment M&A transactions, and interested in a platform offering strong deal flow, competitive compensation, upward mobility, and strong work/life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support sell-side and buyside M&A processes for entertainment companies.
- Build and maintain complex financial models.
- Prepare pitch books, CIMs, management presentations, and other client materials.
- Conduct industry research, valuation analyses, and strategic assessments.
- Manage multiple workstreams and coordinate with clients, investors, and internal team members.
Qualifications:
- 1-5+ years of investment banking experience, ideally in entertainment coverage or M&A.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present confidently to senior film executives.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- FINRA Series 79 License and Series 63 License or the ability to obtain both
