Internal Audit - Global Tier 1 MNC
This role sits within a global corporate audit function, supporting financial and operational audits across international business units. The position is structured as part of a rotational audit programme, offering exposure to multiple markets and business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial and operational audits across regional and global entities within a structured audit rotation programme (approximately 18-24 months).
- Assess the integrity of financial reporting, effectiveness of internal controls, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify practical recommendations to improve business processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
- Execute end-to-end audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented audit working papers in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Finance, IT, Compliance) to ensure alignment and effective audit execution.
- Work with external resources, including translation or local audit support teams, ensuring quality deliverables and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support onboarding and development of junior team members.
- Meet individual and team performance goals within the audit function.
- Build relationships across the organisation to support potential career progression into broader finance or commercial roles post-rotation.
Experience:
- 3-6 years of external audit experience within a reputable public accounting firm (Big 4 preferred).
- Exposure to FMCG, Manufacturing, Healthcare or Pharmaceuticals experience in regulated industries will be preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field e.g. Accountancy/Finance/Business Management
- CPA/ CIA accreditation will be advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management, communication skills and ability to work well with the team.
