A financial institution based in Germany, primarily serving corporate clients across Europe. It offers a range of international banking services, including trade finance, cross-border transactions, and tailored lending solutions. The organization focuses on supporting businesses with their financial operations and growth strategies, particularly those engaged in international markets. The German subsidiary has been active for over 50 years and has operated as a fully licensed bank for the last 30 years. Their focus areas include Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, and Financial Institutions Services with clients primarily in the automotive, electronics, and technology sectors.

Position: Information Security Manager (all genders)

Location: Frankfurt (daily onsite)

Estimated Salary: 70.000€-100.000€* base salary

Hours: 40/week

Languages: fluent German (C1+) & English (B2+)

  • Leading the development and oversight of the Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  • Enhancing and managing information security processes, including coordination with external providers.
  • Conducting audits to ensure compliance with IT security strategies.
  • Leading incident response efforts and serving as the main contact for internal departments and senior management.
  • Evaluating security requirements for business processes and applications.
  • Performing gap analyses and updating local policies based on regulatory standards.
  • Providing strategic insights on risk and security to support decision-making.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (IT, Legal, Compliance) and external partners to implement a comprehensive security strategy.

Your Profile

  • You have the legal right to live and work in Germany, without visa sponsorship
  • Proficiency in both German (C1+) and English (B1+)
  • Significant, hands-on DORA experience
  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field with a focus on IT security.
  • Experience in IT security, information security, or IT compliance.
  • Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, national IT security frameworks, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience with security management tools is a plus.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn.
