Hedge Fund Finance Manager (Singapore)
Our client is a global hedge fund, they are looking for a Finance Manager to be based in Singapore. Please find the key responsibilities below:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our accounting and management reporting functions. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of financial records, timely reporting, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, reporting standards, and business performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Control:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain compliance with local statutory requirements and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
Management Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, highlighting key variances and trends.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPIs to support business performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights and support strategic planning and decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Work closely with department heads to gather inputs and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor budget utilization and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
