About the Role
We are a fast-growing crypto and quantitative trading firm seeking a dynamic Head of Market Making to build and lead our market-making function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader with a strong background in business development and token listings to establish a world-class market-making desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Build from Zero: Design and implement the market-making strategy, infrastructure, and processes for spot and derivatives markets.
- Liquidity Provision: Develop and execute strategies to provide liquidity across centralized and decentralized exchanges.
- Token Listings & Partnerships: Leverage your BD experience to secure token listing opportunities and build strong relationships with exchanges, projects, and ecosystem partners.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of traders and quants.
- Risk Management: Establish robust risk controls and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Performance Optimisation: Continuously monitor and optimise trading strategies for profitability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Proven track record in business development/token listings within crypto exchanges, market-making firms, or trading desks.
- Strong understanding of market microstructure, liquidity provision, and trading strategies.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and scale operations from scratch.
- Languages:
- English fluency is a must; Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus.
- Mindset:
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
