Key Responsibilities

Fund Finance & Oversight

  • Take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of multiple investment structures.
  • Monitor fund performance, liquidity and cash positions.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and oversee transaction processing.
  • Support financial planning, forecasting and operational decision-making.

Investor Transactions

  • Coordinate investor funding processes and commitment tracking.
  • Manage capital deployment into portfolio investments.
  • Calculate and execute investor distributions.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to investor activity and fund ownership.

Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting

  • Partner with investment teams to support periodic valuation processes.
  • Produce regular financial and performance reporting for investors and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare fund accounts and performance metrics.
  • Deliver analysis to support decision-making across the business.

Governance & External Relationships

  • Coordinate year-end reporting and audit processes.
  • Liaise with external service providers, advisors and auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with fund documentation and reporting obligations.
  • Act as a key contact for fund-related queries from stakeholders.

Process Development

  • Contribute to improvements in reporting, controls and operational processes.
  • Support the continued scaling of the finance and fund operations infrastructure.
  • Help drive efficiencies through automation and process enhancement initiatives.

Ideal Background

We are interested in speaking with professionals who have:

  • 2+ years of experience within Fund Accounting, Fund Finance, Financial Reporting or Financial Services Audit.
  • Experience gained within a Big Four or other leading accounting firm, ideally with exposure to private equity, venture capital or alternative investment funds
  • Strong accounting fundamentals and financial reporting knowledge.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
  • An interest in investment management and private markets.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
