Full Stack (UI Lean) Engineer
Currently working with a buyside firm who is looking for the Lead UI/Full Stack Engineer for a new product line. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data analytics, and product development. You'll create real-time dashboards, workflow tools, and analytical applications used by management, product, and business teams to monitor PnL, positions, operational metrics, and key business activities.
You'll work directly with stakeholders to transform complex business requirements into intuitive, data-driven applications that provide critical visibility across the organization.
What You'll Build
- Real-time dashboards that provide management with a clear view of firmwide PnL, positions, and business metrics
- Internal analytical tools that support product, platform, and operational workflows
- Modern single-page applications using React and contemporary UI frameworks
- Data-intensive applications that turn complex datasets into actionable insights
- Workflow automation tools that improve efficiency and operational transparency
- APIs and services that power business-critical applications
Ideal Background
- 2-5+ years of software engineering or web development experience
- Strong React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS experience
- Experience in Next.JS, WebSockets, Socket.io, Ag-Grid, D3.JS is highly preferred
- Advanced SQL and relational database knowledge
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
- Experience building dashboards, data products, or internal business applications
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience working with APIs, data pipelines, and modern web architecture
- Comfortable in Linux/Unix environments
- Finance experience is not required. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy building impactful products, working closely with end users, and solving complex data and workflow challenges at scale.
