Exchange Communication and Infrastructure Analyst

Your Future Role
As an Exchange Communication and Infrastructure Analyst, you will analyse network and exchange protocols, automate performance metrics and lead infrastructure experiments to improve trading operations, particularly on latency-sensitive exchanges.
Responsibilities
*Network and Protocol Analysis: Examine network and exchange protocol captures to identify inefficiencies and enhance communication performance
*Exchange Research and Liaison: Investigate exchange features, attend briefings and engage with exchange representatives to gather insights
*Automation and Visualisation: Automate the collection of performance metrics and develop visualisation tools to monitor exchange communication
*Infrastructure Optimisation: Design and run experiments to improve trading infrastructure, focusing on fill rates and reducing cancel-reject responses
*Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align strategies and share findings across the organisation
Your Skillset
*Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
*At least three years' experience in network analysis or financial markets
*Strong proficiency in Python, time series analysis and network protocols
*Familiarity with market microstructure and low-latency trading environments
*Experience working with market exchanges, FPGA-based trading systems and real-time performance metrics
