Equity Sales
A leading financial services platform is seeking a high-calibre Equity Sales professional to join its Institutional Business team in South China. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with top-tier institutional investors, delivering high-quality research insights and driving capital markets activity across equities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, funds, and other professional investors
- Partner closely with clients' investment and research teams, ensuring consistent engagement and value delivery
- Distribute equity research insights, communicate key market themes, and provide actionable investment ideas
- Organize and coordinate investor interactions, including analyst calls, expert sessions, and industry events
- Support deal execution across capital markets transactions such as IPOs and placements by aligning internal and external stakeholders
- Identify client needs proactively and deliver tailored solutions leveraging internal research and platform capabilities
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams including research analysts, sales, and capital markets professionals
- Contribute to broader team priorities and strategic initiatives as required
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Investment, or related disciplines
- 1-5 years of relevant experience within securities firms, brokerages, or asset management
- Strong track record in institutional equity sales or research sales
- Familiarity with capital markets transactions such as IPOs and follow-on offerings is advantageous
- Securities industry qualification/certification is required
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build long-term business relationships
- Strong communication, coordination, and execution capabilities
- Fluent in Mandarin and strong proficiency in English
