Overview:
An investment bank in Paris is seeking an Associate-level EM Rates Institutional Sales professional to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with institutional clients across Emerging Markets. This individual will need a deep understanding of EM fixed income products and the ability to deliver tailored solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, and pension funds, with a focus on Emerging Market rates products.
Execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share within EM rates.
Provide market insights, trade ideas, and product expertise to clients.
Collaborate closely with trading desks and research teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Monitor market developments and identify opportunities for clients in EM fixed income.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in EM Rates sales within an investment bank or similar institution.
Strong knowledge of Emerging Market fixed income products (sovereign bonds, local rates, FX derivatives).
Proven track record of managing institutional client relationships and generating revenue.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English; French and/or other languages relevant to EM regions is a plus.
