We are representing a global, multi-strategy hedge fund seeking an experienced buy-side equity analyst to join a Long/Short, market-neutral TMT pod, with a primary focus on US Internet. This is an expansion hire supporting a senior PM with 15+ years of buy-side experience and a long-standing, institutional-quality track record.
Role Overview
- Join a well-capitalized Long/Short, market-neutral TMT pod
- Primary responsibility for US Internet coverage (large-cap and SMID-cap)
- End-to-end fundamental research: idea generation, modeling, variant perception, catalysts, risk management
- Work closely with the PM on portfolio construction and position sizing
- Direct contribution to P&L within a disciplined, risk-controlled framework
Candidate Profile
- Experienced buy-side analyst ideally with a strong background in Long/Short equities. Longer duration buyside investment styles would also be considered.
- Deep, demonstrable expertise in Internet / Digital / Platform businesses
- Proven ability to generate differentiated ideas and actionable investment theses
- Strong financial modeling and fundamental analysis skills
- Comfortable operating in a market-neutral, risk-aware environment
- Track record of contributing to P&L preferred
