Summary
A leading international investment bank is looking for an Executive Director to join it's Credit Risk Management team covering Project Finance and Infrastructure transactions across the Americas. This role will provide independent credit oversight for a portfolio of power, energy, transportation, and digital infrastructure financings. This individual will evaluate new transactions, approve credit exposures, and partner with deal teams on complex structuring matters while maintaining independent credit judgment.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite and approve complex project finance and infrastructure transactions across power, energy, transportation, and digital infrastructure sectors
- Assign internal credit ratings, evaluate key risks, and prepare credit approval memorandum
- Partner with deal teams on transaction structuring, due diligence, and negotiation of commercial and legal terms
Qualifications
- 12+ years of Project Finance Credit Risk, Infrastructure Finance, Project Finance Lending, or Structured Credit experience
- Deep expertise across infrastructure and power sectors, including renewables, conventional power, transportation, telecom, utilities, or digital infrastructure
- Strong credit underwriting, financial analysis, and project finance modeling skills
- Proven ability to influence transaction structures, interact with senior stakeholders, and mentor junior team members in a fast-paced environment
