A leading global investment bank is seeking an Executive Director to join its Credit Risk Management team, focused on leading risk oversight across a diverse portfolio of leveraged and structured credit investments. This role sits at the intersection of risk and the front office, providing independent credit judgment on complex transactions including leveraged loans, asset-based lending, lender finance, trade finance, and private credit products. The position combines deep credit expertise, transaction structuring, and portfolio management responsibilities while helping shape risk strategy across the Americas platform.
- Lead credit underwriting and risk assessment across private credit, leveraged finance, asset-based lending, lender finance, and structured credit transactions.
- Partner with deal teams, Legal, and Finance to evaluate structures, negotiate credit protections, and provide independent risk guidance
- Manage portfolio oversight, including credit reviews, risk monitoring, internal ratings, due diligence, and senior management presentations
- 12+ years of credit risk experience across leveraged finance, structured credit, asset-based lending, private credit, or related products with leadership experience preferred
- Strong underwriting and structuring skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and risk committees
- Proven ability to manage complex credit portfolios, lead due diligence, and mentor junior team members
