Our client is a fast-growing boutique investment bank headquartered in New York, currently undergoing a strategic expansion of its equity sales and trading platform under newly appointed global leadership. With a strong foundation and entrepreneurial culture, the firm is building a high-performing team to deliver differentiated execution and insight to institutional clients.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Equity Sales Trader to join the firm's expanding equities division. This individual will play a critical role in driving client engagement, executing trades, and contributing to the growth of the firm's institutional relationships. The ideal candidate brings a deep network of buy-side contacts, a strong understanding of equity markets, and a hands-on, collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute equity trades on behalf of institutional clients with precision and discretion.
  • Leverage existing relationships with portfolio managers, analysts, and trading desks to generate business and deepen client engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with research, trading, and investment banking teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Contribute to the strategic build-out of the equity sales and trading platform.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in equity sales trading, preferably at a sell-side institution or boutique firm.
  • Demonstrated track record of revenue generation and client relationship management.
  • Deep institutional client network across hedge funds, asset managers, and family offices.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses required.
