Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing institutional clients while actively acquiring new clients to drive incremental revenue growth.
  • Oversee the end-to-end account opening process, respond to client inquiries, manage daily operational tasks, and ensure timely and accurate execution of all activities.
  • Participate in morning meetings and deliver daily advisory services to institutional clients through roadshows, client tours, and webinars.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the firm's cross-asset product offerings and deliver customised solutions aligned with client-specific needs.
  • Lead internal and external business development initiatives, identify emerging financial products and trends, and collaborate with the product team to enhance offerings.
  • Uphold high standards of integrity and compliance, demonstrating a proactive attitude toward continuous learning and professional development.
  • Enhance brand visibility and product awareness across client segments, contributing to increased market share and penetration.
  • Manage ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Institutional Equity Sales or Prime Brokerage Sales.
  • Proven track record in client development; candidates with established relationships, particularly with international long-only funds and hedge funds, are highly preferred.
  • Preference on relationships with Korean, Taiwanese or Hong Kong client bases.
  • Sales approach should be driven by ideas and content.
  • Experience in managing global accounts is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Holder of SFC Type 1 license with solid knowledge of local regulatory and compliance frameworks.
