Deputy Head - Team Lead Legal Counsel
A Global Insurance Provider is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel - Team Lead to strengthen one of the legal teams.
Your responsibilities:
- Advise on a broad range of legal topics, including corporate law, regulatory matters, and compliance issues across multiple jurisdictions.
- Contribute to projects involving anti-trust and trademark law, helping shape key business strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the globe, offering legal insight to support innovation and sustainable growth.
- Lead and mentor a team of international legal professionals.
- Work closely with the Group Head of Legal, playing a pivotal role in legal decision-making at the group level.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified lawyer (1 and 2. Staatsexamen).
- Solid legal experience, ideally within the financial services or insurance sectors.
- International mindset, gained through professional experience or academic background.
- Proven leadership experience - or strong ambition to develop into a people leader.
- Business fluency in German and English.
