Role Overview
A leading international bank is looking to hire a Vice President within its London-based Credit Structuring team, with a specific focus on repackaging (repack) solutions across flow and non-flow credit products.
This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in developing and scaling the desk's repack capability, working closely with trading, sales, and other structuring teams to originate and execute bespoke credit solutions for institutional clients.
The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of repack structures, alongside broader credit product knowledge, and will be expected to contribute to both execution and platform build-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Structure and execute flow and non-flow repack transactions across a range of underlying credit assets and derivatives
- Work closely with credit trading, sales, and distribution teams to originate and deliver tailored client solutions
- Take ownership of transactions from structuring and pricing through to execution, including documentation coordination
- Contribute to the development and expansion of the repack platform, including identifying new opportunities and optimising structures
- Analyse underlying assets, collateral frameworks, and funding considerations to ensure robust structuring outcomes
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including legal, risk, compliance, and operations to ensure efficient deal execution
- Support client engagement by providing technical expertise on structuring capabilities and solutions
Required Experience & Skills
- 4-8 years' experience within a structuring, solutions, or trading environment within an investment bank or similar institution
- Demonstrable experience with credit repackaging (repack) structures, across:
- Flow repacks
- Non-flow / bespoke repacks
- Strong understanding of credit markets and instruments, including bonds, loans, and derivatives
- Experience working on structured transactions from inception to execution
- Solid knowledge of documentation frameworks (e.g. ISDA, note issuance programmes, SPV structures)
- Strong analytical and structuring skillset with attention to detail
