Position Overview
The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic right hand to the CEO and executive leadership team, with a primary focus on deal sourcing, M&A evaluation, and corporate development initiatives.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and transaction execution, making it an ideal landing spot for high‑performing IB/PE talent seeking operator‑side experience in MedTech.

Key Responsibilities
Corporate Development & M&A (Core Focus)
- Lead financial modeling, valuation, and deal analytics for potential acquisitions.
- Conduct market mapping, competitive analyses, and target identification across MedTech subsectors.
- Support full lifecycle M&A execution: outreach, due diligence, data room management, coordination with advisors, and integration planning.
- Prepare investment committee materials including CIM reviews, deal summaries, business cases, and strategic rationale.
- Partner with cross‑functional leaders (R&D, Quality, Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial, Ops) to evaluate synergies and assess strategic fit.
Strategic & Operational Support
- Act as an extension of the CEO in evaluating company priorities, driving accountability, and ensuring follow‑through across initiatives.
- Build board‑ready presentations, strategic updates, and materials related to M&A and corporate strategy.
- Support long‑range strategic planning and annual operating reviews.
- Synthesize complex information into concise insights for executive decision-making.
- Lead special projects spanning commercial strategy, new product initiatives, operational efficiency, or cross‑functional alignment.
Executive Enablement & Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Ensure seamless communication and alignment across teams during fast‑moving acquisition processes.
- Create structure, frameworks, and processes that help the organization scale.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO-providing analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and operational execution.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in Investment Banking (M&A or coverage: Tech, Healthcare, MedTech, HCIT, Devices) or 1-2 years in Private Equity (tech/healthcare).
- Strong financial modeling, transaction execution, and analytical capabilities.
- Prior exposure to healthcare, MedTech, medical devices, diagnostics, tools, or adjacent verticals strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex deal concepts into actionable business insights.
- Comfortable operating in a high‑growth, fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Highly organized with strong ownership mentality and bias for action.
