About the Role
We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented Senior Associate to join our Central Data & Analytics function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across complex datasets, enhancing data quality, and supporting analytical workflows that underpin large‑scale investment and client activities. You will play a key part in strengthening data foundations, improving processes, and partnering with global stakeholders to deliver accurate, reliable, and well‑structured data that supports critical business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure core investment, client, and portfolio datasets are accurate, complete, and easily accessible for analysis, reporting, and decision‑support needs.
- Prepare and validate data inputs used in portfolio analytics, dashboards, monitoring tools, and senior‑level governance materials.
- Apply standardized data definitions, methodologies, and calculation rules; perform quality checks to ensure all outputs are consistent, explainable, and audit‑ready.
- Manage ad hoc data requests by clarifying requirements, sourcing information, prioritizing delivery, and communicating results clearly to stakeholders.
- Design and enhance repeatable data processes, including automated checks, exception logs, and documented workflows that improve reliability and reduce manual effort.
- Capture, structure, and reconcile private investment transactions and cash flows, including capital calls, distributions, fees, and cash movements.
- Maintain accurate investment attributes - such as entity mappings, allocations, currencies, dates, and statuses - reconciling against internal and external sources.
- Support liquidity planning, cash forecasting, and reporting through timely and structured management of private asset cash flow data.
- Gather, clean, and ingest large datasets from internal systems and external providers while resolving anomalies and standardizing formats.
- Maintain complete and organized records of investment documentation, including statements, notices, agreements, and financial reports.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and contribute to ongoing improvements in data workflows and platforms.
- Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure alignment on data processes, handoffs, and shared deliverables.
- Communicate complex data issues clearly and escalate data integrity risks when appropriate.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical field.
- Strong quantitative skills and comfort working with numerical datasets.
- High attention to detail with the ability to reconcile data across multiple sources.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to troubleshoot independently.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both peers and senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of deliverables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; advanced Excel preferred.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or BI/reporting tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or professional experience in data, analytics, finance, operations, or a related field.
- Familiarity with private investments, fund structures, or financial datasets.
- Experience contributing to process improvement or data workflow enhancement.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to operate across time zones and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
