Business Analyst
A rapidly expanding operator of youth-focused programs currently manages a nationwide portfolio of more than sixty locations and brands, with continued growth driven by new acquisitions and market expansion. The organization follows a multi-brand, multi-site model in which each business retains its own identity, community presence, and specialized programming. Advanced analytics, AI-driven decision support, and data intelligence are central to optimizing performance, scaling operations, and enabling sustainable growth across the portfolio.
The company acquires 10-15 businesses annually, predominantly founder-led organizations with seasoned local leaders who oversee daily operations. Centralized support teams provide strategic guidance and hands-on services including marketing, CRM strategy, analytics, M&A integration, finance, HR, and capital planning to help each business scale more effectively.
Position Summary
The Business Analyst will collaborate across departments to interpret complex data, develop dashboards and reports, and convert analytical findings into meaningful recommendations that influence both executive decision-making and local operational strategy.
Responsibilities
- Use SQL and Python to extract, clean, and interpret large datasets, monitoring subscription and enrollment metrics such as average participation levels, new customer mix, and churn indicators.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines that convert disparate, inconsistent inputs from multiple systems into reliable, polished datasets through strict validation and data hygiene processes.
- Develop detailed retention cohort analyses to monitor engagement trends, pinpoint attrition drivers, and highlight opportunities to increase customer lifetime value.
- Create predictive models that forecast key business outcomes, including seasonal enrollment patterns and churn likelihood, supporting proactive interventions.
- Conduct in-depth customer segmentation to guide targeted CRM initiatives, and evaluate campaign performance to improve conversion, engagement, and retention results.
- Design automated, interactive dashboards in tools such as Tableau or Power BI to provide real-time visibility into operational, financial, and marketing performance for both leadership and local teams.
- Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable insights and executive-level presentations accessible to non-technical audiences.
- Develop expertise in the various class‑management and scheduling systems used across the portfolio, ensuring consistent metric tracking and clean data during and after acquisitions.
- Monitor digital acquisition metrics through Google Analytics and related tools, connecting top-of-funnel behavior to downstream enrollment activity.
Skills and Knowledge
- Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in BI platforms such as Tableau and Power BI, including data modeling and dashboard development.
- Business Insight: Ability to interpret stakeholder needs, design analytical solutions, and drive measurable business impact.
- Cloud Competency: Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS or Azure is beneficial.
