C# Engineer
A leading investment management firm is looking to add a Software Developer to its technology team. This person will help build and support the systems that power portfolio management, trade processing, pricing, valuation, and other critical investment workflows. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you'll partner directly with business users and fellow engineers to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that have a direct impact on the firm's day-to-day operations.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and support Windows and web-based applications used across investment operations
- Build and enhance systems supporting portfolio management, trading, positions, allocations, security master, and P&L workflows
- Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver practical solutions
- Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong experience with C#/.NET and object-oriented programming
- Experience building Windows and/or web applications using technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, Angular, JavaScript, Web APIs, WPF, or WinForms
- Strong SQL Server and database development skills
- Familiarity with APIs, messaging technologies, and distributed systems
- Experience within financial services, asset management, hedge funds, or investment technology environments
- Exposure to portfolio management systems and workflows, including trades, positions, allocations, security master, and P&L
- Knowledge of pricing, valuation, market data, or investment operations systems is a plus
