Business Analyst
Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a strong Business Analyst to support system operations, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. You will play a key role in maintaining system setups, creating and optimizing templates, and ensuring high-quality operational reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain system operations, including system setups, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
- Develop, maintain, and automate reporting templates and operational reports.
- Build and optimize Power BI dashboards to support business insights and performance tracking.
- Write, review, and execute SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting needs.
- Prepare high-quality analyses using Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and VBA automation.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and support cross-functional teams with system-related improvements.
- Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with internal financial controls.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in systems, data analysis, business analysis, or accounting within financial services.
- Strong proficiency in: SQL, Power BI, Excel, including VBA
- Experience with system setups, configurations, operational workflows, and system maintenance.
- Solid understanding of financial processes, operational reporting, and data governance.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated financial environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
