Job Title: Claims Adjuster

We are seeking driven, educated, and experienced professionals to join our team as Claims Adjusters. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, possess strong organizational and time management skills, and demonstrate exceptional professionalism. This is a hybrid role that could be based out of Chicago, Philadelphia, Naples, or Salt Lake City.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and determine the extent of liability for personal, casualty, property loss, and general damages.
• Maintain current knowledge of litigation trends and court decisions that may impact claims handling.
• Conduct interviews and correspond with insured parties, agents, medical professionals, witnesses, and claimants to gather relevant information.
• Review police reports, medical records, and other documentation to assess claims and provide recommendations.
• Negotiate settlements and recommend litigation when necessary.
• Collaborate with adjusters, managers, investigators, and legal counsel to resolve claims effectively.
• Evaluate claims accurately and ensure timely follow-up.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with insured parties throughout the claims process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in claims adjusting.
• Experience in Excess & Surplus (E&S) lines is a plus.
• Property and Casualty Adjuster License required (or must be obtained within six months of hire).
