Role Summary:
An opportunity within the London office of a leading global financial institution for an experienced AVP/VP to join its Energy Project Finance team. The role involves end-to-end transaction execution, structuring, and portfolio management across energy and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead/support execution of complex project finance transactions across EMEA.
- Develop and review financial models, coordinate due diligence, and prepare credit papers.
- Assist in structuring bespoke financing solutions involving multi-layered capital sources.
- Prepare pitch materials and support origination efforts with sponsors and developers.
- Manage relationships with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of existing transactions, including credit reviews and amendments.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in project/structured finance, preferably in energy or infrastructure.
- Strong financial modelling, credit analysis, and transaction execution skills.
- Familiarity with project finance documentation and risk assessment.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
