Job Title: Audit/ Valuation Senior Associate

Location: Los Angeles, CA (on-site)

Salary: $130k - $150k + bonus

Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to join an alternative asset manager based in Los Angeles, operating within a niche and highly technical private‑markets strategy. In this high‑visibility role, you will take ownership of valuation oversight and fund reporting across multiple active vehicles. You will lead audit interactions, manage communication with external vendors, and ensure accurate, high‑quality reporting. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented and highly analytical, thriving in a lean, fast‑paced team environment.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Oversee end‑to‑end fund administration, including review and approval of quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Lead fair value measurement processes and support quarterly valuation and reporting cycles.
  • Manage external vendor relationships and clearly communicate quarterly valuation updates and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and review complex audit cycles, ensuring timely delivery of all client and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, maintaining high quality standards and consistent execution.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance reporting timelines, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a Big Four audit or valuation practice.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Direct hands‑on experience with private equity or private credit fund audits.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to operate effectively within a lean, fast‑paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to structure and communicate complex valuation concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate across finance, operations, and third‑party providers.
