Asset Manager
We are seeking a results-driven Asset Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of multifamily and retail properties in the Boca Raton area. This role is responsible for maximizing asset value through strategic planning, operational oversight, financial performance analysis, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of real estate operations, market dynamics, and investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Oversight:
Manage day-to-day performance of a portfolio of multifamily and retail assets, ensuring alignment with ownership objectives and investment strategies.Financial Performance:
Analyze property-level financials, budgets, and forecasts. Identify opportunities to enhance NOI and asset value through revenue growth and expense control.Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement asset-level business plans, including leasing strategies, capital improvements, repositioning, and disposition plans.Capital Projects:
Oversee capital improvement projects from planning through execution. Coordinate with construction teams, vendors, and property managers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.Leasing & Tenant Relations:
Collaborate with leasing teams to optimize occupancy and rental rates. Review lease terms, monitor tenant performance, and support retention strategies.Market Analysis:
Monitor local market trends, competitive properties, and economic indicators to inform strategic decisions and identify risks or opportunities.Reporting & Communication:
Prepare and present regular asset performance reports to senior leadership and investors. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding asset status and strategic initiatives.Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure properties comply with all regulatory requirements, insurance standards, and risk management protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field (MBA or Master's preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in asset management, preferably with a focus on multifamily and/or retail properties.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
- Proficiency in real estate software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Argus) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of South Florida real estate markets is a plus.
