ARM Team Lead - International Private Bank
A leading international private bank is seeking an experienced Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) Team Lead to support its growing Greater China business in Hong Kong.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior private banking professional to take on a leadership role, overseeing a team of ARMs while partnering closely with Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional service to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Assistant Relationship Managers supporting the Greater China client segment.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to ensure high service standards and professional development.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to deliver seamless client servicing and support.
- Act as an escalation point for complex client enquiries and operational matters.
- Monitor team capacity, resource allocation, leave coverage, and workflow management.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance policies.
- Drive operational efficiency and best practices across the team.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and support promotion and succession planning initiatives.
- Foster a positive team culture and actively contribute to employee engagement and retention.
Requirements
- Experience within Private Banking or Wealth Management, with a strong background in client servicing and account management.
- Prior people management or team leadership experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of private banking products, processes, and operational workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential to support Greater China clients. Cantonese is advantageous.
