Job Description:
Our client is seeking an Actuary to help build out their excess casualty team. As a leading global carrier, they are committed to delivering innovative solutions within a rapidly growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies for excess casualty insurance products.
- Analyze and interpret complex data to inform pricing decisions and optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment of pricing strategies with business objectives.
- Provide expert actuarial advice and support to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to ensure our pricing strategies remain competitive and compliant.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of actuarial experience, with a focus on excess casualty pricing preferred; experience in commercial lines pricing will also be considered.
- ACAS (Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society) or FCAS (Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society) designation required.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in actuarial software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
