Accounting Staff - Japanese Client-Focused Accounting Firm
About the Role
This is hiring from Japanese well-known accounting firm serving primarily Japanese corporate clients. As their business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated accounting professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to Japanese clients/companies and deepen your expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle monthly and annual financial closing
- Prepare and review bookkeeping and journal entries
- Prepare GST filings and liaise with IRAS
- Assist in corporate tax filings
- Provide accounting and tax advisory to clients
- Support payroll processing and CPF submissions
- Assist with onboarding of new clients etc
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant accounting or audit experience
- Proficiency in English; basic Japanese communication skills preferred (e.g., reading simple emails or speaking basic phrases)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Experience with Japanese clients or companies is a plus
