Role Overview

The Accounting Manager will be a key partner to senior leadership, overseeing core accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities within a public‑company environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the details, ensuring accuracy and integrity in the numbers, and supporting a high‑energy, guest‑focused environment. You will also lead a talented team and drive continuous improvement across accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and public‑company reporting standards
  • Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights
  • Partner with leaders across Operations, Production, Marketing, and Finance
  • Support internal and external audits, internal controls (SOX), and regulatory compliance
  • Develop, document, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Lead, mentor, and support the development of a high‑performing accounting team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred; MBA a plus)
  • 6-8+ years of progressive accounting or audit experience, ideally with exposure to public‑company environments
  • Experience with SEC reporting, SOX compliance, or Big 4 public accounting is highly beneficial
  • Background in entertainment, media, hospitality, or consumer‑focused industries is a plus
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including U.S. GAAP and internal control standards
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally and support senior leadership
  • A collaborative, team‑first mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast‑moving organization
