VP, Diversified Industrials Coverage
Job Details
- Support origination and execution of financing and advisory transactions for clients in the Diversified Industrials sector across APAC (excluding Japan), including manufacturing, logistics, capital goods, and industrial services.
- Assist in structuring corporate finance and acquisition finance deals (recourse and non-recourse), as well as project and structured finance solutions tailored to industrial clients.
- Contribute to M&A advisory and capital markets transactions (DCM/ECM), including cross-border opportunities and sector-specific strategic initiatives.
- Analyze client strategies, financials, credit profiles, and investment plans to identify opportunities for tailored financial solutions and cross-sell potential.
- Prepare high-quality pitch books and presentations incorporating sector insights, company valuations, synergy analysis, and financial product overviews.
- Support senior bankers in engaging with C-level executives and corporate development teams to deepen client relationships and drive strategic dialogue.
- Coordinate with global teams-including country, industry, and product bankers-to deliver integrated, cross-regional solutions aligned with client needs.
- Mentor junior staff, contribute to team development, and support internal collaboration across departments and geographies.
Requirements
- Strong experience and track record in investment banking or structured finance, ideally with exposure to industrials and APAC markets.
- Strong understanding of acquisition finance, project finance, and capital markets products.
- Familiarity with M&A processes and industrial sector dynamics.
- Bachelor's degree required; CFA, CPA, or MBA preferred.
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in English; Asian language skills are a plus.
