A leading advisory firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to join its growing Financial Advisory practice. This is a high-impact, client-facing leadership role focused on M&A advisory, business valuation, and financial consulting services within the specialty insurance distribution sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage M&A transactions from origination through to closing, including financial modeling, due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality execution and long-term relationship development.
  • Oversee both buy-side and sell-side engagements, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development efforts, including marketing strategy and client outreach.
  • Mentor and manage junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and performance management.
  • Contribute thought leadership through publications and industry engagement.
  • Stay current on market trends and regulatory developments impacting the insurance distribution space.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 6-10+ years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or financial consulting.
  • Relevant industry exposure to specialty insurance, InsureTech, or Risk Retention Groups.
  • Strong background in financial analysis, deal execution, and client relationship management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; advanced degrees (MBA, JD) and certifications (CPA, CVA, AM&AA, CPCU) are a plus.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed.

Compensation: $130,000 - $175,000 base, plus a performance-based bonus incentive.
