Client Management & Relationship Building

  • Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with Trustees, union leadership, fund office administrators, and investment consultants.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, anticipating client needs and identifying opportunities to strengthen plan governance and financial stability.
  • Oversee complex client communications, meeting materials, and actuarial summaries.

Project Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead multi‑employer actuarial teams, mentoring junior actuaries and analysts.
  • Review work for technical accuracy, clarity, and compliance with internal standards.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and workflows across multiple clients.
  • Support practice growth through innovation, process improvements, and service enhancements.

Required Qualifications

  • FSA, EA, or ASA with multi‑employer experience (EA strongly preferred).
  • 7-12+ years of actuarial experience, with at least several years focused on Taft‑Hartley plans.

  • Strong presentation skills, with experience leading Board of Trustees meetings.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, lead teams, and deliver complex actuarial work.
  • Proficiency with actuarial valuation software (e.g., ProVal) and advanced Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with both pension and health & welfare multi‑employer plans.
  • Familiarity with MPRA applications, funding relief strategies, and plan sustainability modeling.
